Welcome to Our School
Two decades of discipline, scholarship and care in Bagodar.
Founded in 2003 and recognised under affiliation 319/2008-09, 10+2 Saraswati Vidya Niketan Resi. High School began as a single hostel block and four classrooms on the edge of Bagodar — a promise to families across the block that a disciplined, residential education need not mean sending a child far from home. Today the campus runs from Play Group right through to Class XII, with classrooms, laboratories and dormitories for boys and girls drawn from Giridih and neighbouring districts.

Our Journey
Milestones over the years.
2003
Foundation
The school opened with 4 classrooms and a single boys' dormitory serving 60 students.
2008
Girls' Hostel Opens
A dedicated residential wing for girls was added, doubling campus capacity.
2012
Secondary Wing
Classes were extended up to Class X with the first science laboratory block.
2017
Smart Classrooms
Digital boards were installed across the middle and secondary wings.
2022
New Sports Complex
A full-size playground, indoor games hall and running track were completed.
2023
Senior Secondary (+2)
The school extended to Class XII with Science, Arts and Commerce streams.
2025
98% Board Result
Our Class X batch recorded its best-ever board result, with three students in the district top ten.
