Where discipline meets a home away from home.
Founded in 2003 and recognised under affiliation 319/2008-09, 10+2 Saraswati Vidya Niketan Resi. High School began as a single hostel block and four classrooms on the edge of Bagodar — a promise to families across the block that a disciplined, residential education need not mean sending a child far from home. Today the campus runs from Play Group right through to Class XII, with classrooms, laboratories and dormitories for boys and girls drawn from Giridih and neighbouring districts.
Discipline: Structured routines from wake-up bell to lights-out build focus and self-reliance.
Scholarship: Concept-first teaching, regular assessment and dedicated doubt-clearing hours.
Character: Daily assembly, community chores and peer mentoring shape honesty and empathy.

Admissions Open for Session 2026–27
Admissions from Play Group to Class XII (day-boarding and residential) are now open. Limited hostel seats available.
Independence Day Celebration
All students to assemble by 7:00 AM on 15th August for flag hoisting, march-past and the cultural programme.
Half-Yearly Examination Schedule Released
Half-yearly examinations for Classes I–X begin 24th August. Date sheets are available at the school office.
A child should be around 3 to 3.5 years old as on 31st March of the admission year. Please contact the office for the exact cut-off date.
No. We offer both day-boarding and residential (hostel) options from Class III onward. Residential seats are limited and allotted on a first-come basis.
Birth certificate, previous school's transfer certificate and report card, Aadhaar card, and four passport-size photographs.
Visiting hours are every Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM. Parents must sign in at the hostel gate register.
The school is recognised under affiliation number 319/2008-09 (UDISE 20061401920) and runs from Play Group through to Class XII, with Science, Arts and Commerce streams at the +2 level.
Seats for Session 2026–27 are limited.
